Joss Stone says Sir Mick Jagger often thinks she's not listening to him when he talks.
The British songstress is part of new group SuperHeavy with Mick, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley and A.R. Rahman.
Joss formed a great rapport with the whole band while recording their eclectic 12-track album, and particularly bonded with the Rolling Stones legend. Mick was always on hand to provide words of wisdom, but got impatient when he thought Jess wasn't taking it on board.
"Yeah, he makes me laugh," she told the LA Times.
"The great thing about Mick is that he's got so much knowledge, and he's always sharing. And I'm always listening. Whenever he thinks I'm not, I am, and I take it all on board."
Mick was also quick to showcase his musical knowledge in other areas. The 68-year-old recalled an interaction with Rahman, who had brought in a Middle Eastern stringed instrument into the studio. Read more
