Beyonce knows baby's sex

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z know what sex their baby is, Tina Knowles has revealed.
The couple are expecting their first baby in February.
Beyoncé's mom is excited about becoming a grandmother for the second time and was dropping plenty of hints about the new arrival at the Angel Ball in New York on Monday.
"Yeah they know what they're having," she told Life & Style. "But I'm not telling!"
Tina confessed that Beyoncé has been suffering from morning sickness. But she has been working hard to get herself through it.
However, Tina thinks that when Beyoncé has the baby she will be forced to slow down a bit.
"She went through it [morning sickness], but she's got past it now," she explained. "She's doing really good. She's busy. She's going to be an awesome mom. I think it will slow her down somewhat, but I think she'll be the same great person she's been."
The designer also had plenty of praise for rapper Jay-Z. She believes the 41-year-old will make a fantastic father.
"I think he's going to be awesome," she added. "They are very, very happy and just glowing. It's great to see."

Beyonce's new single is a sexy headtrip

Beyoncé has a new single out called Countdown. As she is wont to do, she's released a suitably funky video to go along with it – but there's a problem we can't quite get past.

Beyoncé's good at singing, right? That's something we can all agree on. Whatever you think of her particular style of music, the fact that she is scientifically excellent at making difficult sounds fall out of her mouth in the correct order is indisputable.

Beyonce's 'Countdown' Video Shoot Was 'Evolving, Spontaneous'

Beyoncé's "Countdown" video plays up the singer's theatrical side. It pays homage to iconic films like "West Side Story" and "Funny Face," as well as '60s icons like the Supremes and Audrey Hepburn. The clip, co-directed by Adria Petty, is an eye-catching glimpse at the pop culture moments that reside in the creative conscience of the pop star.

While a lot of the video displays the singer's personality and spunk, as well as her ever-expanding baby bump, it's clear that Petty and her team worked hard to make sure they captured the spirit of the milestones they re-created in the video.

"I brought Beyoncé a number of references and we picked some out together. Most were German modern-dance references, believe it or not. But it really evolved," she told MTV News, calling it "an evolving, spontaneous process." Read more at MTV

Beyonce Flaunts Baby Bump In 'Countdown' Video

Beyoncé has an affinity for recalling the past in her videos — from the "Mexican Breakfast" Bob Fosse/Gwen Verdon routine that inspired the "Single Ladies" video to her tortured '50s homemaker character in "Why Don't You Love Me" — and her latest clip for the horn-heavy "Countdown" jam is no exception.

The video is a feast for the eyes, with Beyoncé taking on a variety of iconic looks. Her makeup when the video opens recalls the mod styling of Twiggy, but soon enough, she segues into full-on Audrey Hepburn mode, taking both her look and dance cues from the 1957 film "Funny Face."

From there, we see the pop star in a variety of bold, brightly colored bathing suits and a black-and-white hat, set against a constantly changing background of vivid colors. It's an iconic image that brings to mind the classic Vogue photo shoots of yesteryear. Read more at MTv
