The American singer has been dating Matthew Rutler for several months. The pair love spending time together, and Matthew is smitten with his superstar lover.
He apparently works hard to make her feel special, and ensures she has what she needs no matter what time of the day or night.
'She thinks nothing of waking him up in the middle of the night and sending him to the store to satisfy her junk food cravings,' a source told National Enquirer.
Matthew was a set assistant on Burlesque, the movie Christina starred in alongside Cher. Since he started dating Christina he's put his career on the back-burner, but is now said to be keen to focus on work again.
Christina was initially unsure about his plans as her life is so hectic she needs a lot of support. However, she now knows Matthew must do what is necessary to be happy.
'Christina. worries that if he takes a job, he won't be able to travel with her, help care for [her son] Max and attend to her needs,' the source added.
